Celebrating the Success of NBC4 and Telemundo 52’s Help For The Hungry Campaign

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is thrilled to announce the success of the 2023 NBC4 and Telemundo 52 Help For The Hungry campaign. Thanks to the incredible generosity of viewers, customers at Ralphs and Food 4 Less, and valued community partners like Goya, the campaign has again achieved great results.

Combined, over $105,000 was raised for those seeking food assistance in the southland, and that quantity will be split among southern California food banks. This great result demonstrates the compassion and solidarity of the community in the fight against hunger. These funds will translate into hundreds of thousands of meals for those facing food and nutrition insecurity.

The Food Bank extends heartfelt gratitude to NBC4, Telemundo 52, and all other partners who played a pivotal role in making this campaign a resounding success. Their commitment to addressing hunger in the community has made a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals and families.

This year, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank specifically is honored to receive donations totaling over $23,000 thanks to the generosity of viewers and the community who supported NBC4 and Telemundo 52’s 2023 Help for the Hungry campaign in partnership with Ralphs and Food 4 Less.

This year also included a special event with Eastmont Community Center, where hundreds of families were provided with nutrition assistance just in time for the holidays.

The impact of these contributions extends beyond numbers. Each dollar raised creates multiple meals and represents hope for those struggling to put food on the table. It is a testament to the power of collective action and the belief that together, positive change can be created.

The Help For The Hungry campaign serves as a reminder of the profound impact that can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. We look forward to next year’s campaign, and meanwhile, our collective commitment to fighting hunger persists. The Food Bank invites you to continue supporting the mission as we work tirelessly to build a future where no one in LA County goes hungry.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank extends gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this campaign. Your generosity and compassion have made a tangible difference in the lives of those served.
