Agency Spotlight: Meet St. Francis Center

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

A longtime partner agency of the Food Bank, St. Francis Center is a multi-service community organization located on Hope Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

The agency provides hunger relief and supportive services to low-income families and homeless individuals.
Because of its shining example in our community, the Food Bank is honored to recognize the St. Francis Center with the Tony Collier Award.

This award, named after the founder of the Food Bank, is awarded annually to a partner agency that exemplifies our shared mission of service to the community and the vision that no one goes hungry in Los Angeles County. St. Francis Center provides food for families, youth, disabled adults, seniors, veterans, and those living in supportive housing and offers other services, including health care, youth development, and case management for their guests in an effort to give them the tools necessary to build better lives and neighborhoods. St. Francis Center also serves homeless people in an effort to help end the cycle of poverty by providing them with warm meals, health and hygiene services, and mail service.

St. Francis Center is an exemplary partner of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and has been working for the past 45 years serving the community in the downtown area.
