How to Donate fUNDS

Monetary donations are critical to the success of the Food Bank. Funding helps us safely prepare, store and transport donated food so that it can get into the hands of those who need it most.

Our work is highly efficient. Your gift can multiply in impact when combined with other cash donations, purchased and donated foods, so that 97% of revenues go back to the community.

Sign up to be a monthly donor, start a virtual food drive or Facebook Fundraiser, or make a contribution online now. Every $1 provides up to 4 meals.

How to donate Food

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank accepts donations from various sources including grocery stores, growers and manufacturers. When thinking about what to donate, remember that any food you eat or product you use to get you through the day are the types of products that could potentially be donated.

The Food Bank also accepts small-scale donations and can help you organize food drives.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is grateful for our many supporters. While we appreciate our large-scale donors like our Board of Directors and corporate partners, we are also thankful for everyone who donates even just $15 per month, or a $350 per year. Anyone who donates any amount, large or small, is a hunger hero!

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank hosts or participates in numerous events and campaigns throughout the year. Keep an eye out for an opportunity to donate funds during a matching gift campaign, which allows you to double the impact of your donation.
