The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s largest food distribution program is our network of more than 600 partner agencies and 1,000 distribution sites. These are schools, senior and community centers, churches and pantries.
Our mission is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community. Of course some of those resources are food and monetary donations.
One in four children living in Los Angeles County does not know where their next meal is coming from.
We are only able to pursue our vision of ending hunger in Los Angeles with the help of our volunteers.
Our largest CSFP site is located in Carson where we serve more than 800 qualifying seniors who struggle with hunger every month.
