Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Donate $1 Million to the LA Regional Food Bank

A wedding-week act of generosity will translate into millions of meals for our neighbors in Los Angeles County.

This past week, in the middle of celebrating one of the biggest milestones of their lives, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce chose to think of others. As part of a combined $26 million in wedding-week donations to 20 charitable organizations across the country, the couple gave $1 million to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a gift that will ripple through our community for months and years to come.

On behalf of those we serve, and everyone who serves alongside us, we want to say it plainly: Thank You.

Why This Donation Matters

Food insecurity in LA County remains a serious and persistent challenge. Rising housing costs, inflation in basic goods, and stagnant wages have pushed hundreds of thousands of working families, seniors on fixed incomes, and children into a position where they simply don’t know where their next meal will come from.

The Food Bank exists to close that gap. Every single day, we work with hundreds of partner agencies to distribute food across our County’s 4,000-plus square miles. A contribution of this size doesn’t just add to the budget line; it directly expands the Food Bank’s capacity to source, sort, and distribute nutritious food to people who need it most.

To put it in perspective: every dollar donated to the Food Bank allows us to provide multiple meals, thanks to the purchasing power and partnerships with grocers, growers, and manufacturers. A $1 million gift, translated through that model, means an extraordinary number of meals reaching kitchen tables across the region, from Long Beach to the Antelope Valley.

Together, We Feed LA

The Food Bank is deeply grateful to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for choosing to include the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in their wedding-week giving. Their generosity will help ensure that more families, children, seniors, and individuals across LA County have access to nutritious food when they need it most.

But the need doesn’t end with one gift, however generous. Hunger in Los Angeles County is an ongoing challenge, and it takes an entire community to meet it.

If Taylor and Travis’s generosity moved you, here’s how you can be part of the solution too:

  • Donate to help us continue providing meals to families across LA County.
  • Volunteer at one of our two distribution centers or partner agencies.
  • Spread awareness about food insecurity in your own community on social media.

Thank you, Taylor and Travis, for your compassion and your commitment to Los Angeles. And thank you to everyone who continues to stand with us in the fight against hunger. Together, We Feed LA.
