Nutritious Food is Closer Than You Think

Nutritious Food is Closer Than You Think

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank partners with hundreds of nonprofit organizations throughout LA County to maximize its reach.

At any given point, someone may find themselves struggling. Whether it’s long-term or short-term, no one should have to sacrifice nutrition. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and its hundreds of partner agencies are there when individuals need nutritious food, diapers, and menstrual hygiene kits, among other items. Some of these partner agencies may be just around the corner.

The Food Bank’s Food Pantry Locator is a useful tool for finding a partner agency throughout LA County that can help someone get food and, in some cases, provide other kinds of assistance that may be needed.

Finding a Food Pantry

A young girl beams while holding a piece of food, beside a search bar with an arrow pointing to "Find Food." The image graces the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank website, urging donations and volunteerism. The Food Bank encourages those seeking food assistance to locate its closest food pantry to their residence to maximize convenience and resources. Simply visit our Pantry Locator and enter your address or zip code. It’ll provide you with food pantries available in your area. It’s advisable to call ahead to confirm distribution dates and times.

Additionally, if you have specific baby diapers or menstrual hygiene needs, use these filters when searching. If accessing our website isn’t feasible, dial the County at 211 to locate nearby food resources.

You are Not Alone

There is no shame in asking for food assistance for yourself or your family. Hundreds of thousands of individuals seek food assistance from the Food Bank each month.

Individuals like Fabiola, who unexpectedly saw her work hours reduced, turned to Word International in Echo Park for assistance. She’s happy she eventually left her pride aside to feed herself and her family.

Christopher was in between jobs. When the background check for his new job took longer than expected, he turned to Servants Arms in La Puente to help alleviate his grocery budget.

Supporting our neighbors when they need it most is essential for our communities to thrive. By making a contribution to the Food Bank, you’re helping support families and individuals who are in need. Consider making a donation today.
