An Orchestrated Effort to Help Those in Need

This event holds significant importance for our mission, arriving at a crucial juncture during the summer months when food insecurity is more challenging, particularly for families with children. During summer break, parents of kids who rely on school meals face tough times as those meals become unavailable while schools are closed.

AWMH volunteer days at food banks all over America play a vital role in raising awareness about food insecurity in our community and various communities across the United States. It ignites a sense of motivation and engagement among community members of all ages to actively participate in hunger relief efforts.

From volunteering and donating to creating your virtual food drive or utilizing your company’s matching programs, there are countless ways to get involved with the Food Bank until our vision is met and no one goes hungry in LA County. Together, #WeFeedLA.
