The Los Angeles Rams Continue to Demonstrate Commitment to Fighting Hunger in Los Angeles County

When neighbors need it most, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and its partner agencies have stepped up to provide food assistance where it’s needed. In 2025, the Greater Los Angeles Wildfires and the government shutdown created chaos in the daily lives of thousands of neighbors. Fortunately, the Food Bank works closely with partners and sponsors to provide the food that’s needed, where it’s needed.

And that’s where the Los Angeles Rams come in. Since the franchise’s return to Los Angeles, the Rams have been committed to their community and to fighting hunger in our County. Not only did they step up to host food and product distributions at SoFi Stadium to those affected by the wildfires, but they also held two additional drive-through distributions during the government shutdown in late 2025.

Through these food distributions, thousands of families had the opportunity to receive much-needed food assistance during a crucial time, especially for those struggling because of cuts to CalFresh benefits, as well as for those struggling to put food on the table for Thanksgiving and the Holidays. Each household received roughly 60 pounds of food, enough to feed a family of six or more for a week.

In addition to their support, the Food Bank’s annual signature event, Taste of the Rams, has been hosted by the Rams since 2016, and the event has been at SoFi Stadium every year since 2022. The fundraising event brings together amazing food from top local chefs, Rams players and cheerleaders, and Food Bank supporters for an evening of impactful giving. Since the event’s inception, Taste of the Rams has provided more than 6.2 million meals to food-insecure neighbors.
