Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Team Up to Fight Hunger

Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Team Up to Fight Hunger

The Los Angeles Clippers once again demonstrated their strong commitment to fighting hunger in 2025 through two impactful initiatives: the annual Feed the Community event at the Kia Forum in Inglewood on October 10 and a volunteer day at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s City of Industry Distribution Center.

The Feed the Community event brought together Clippers players, staff, volunteers, and local families in a powerful display of unity and generosity. More than 2,500 individuals facing food insecurity received groceries and essential items, made possible through this collaborative effort.

The Kia Forum’s proximity to the new Intuit Dome, the Clippers’ home arena, highlights the organization’s deep roots in the Inglewood community. Through initiatives like these, the Clippers continue to demonstrate their commitment to the neighborhoods they call home.

In addition to the Feed the Community event, Clippers staff spent time the week prior volunteering at the Food Bank’s City of Industry warehouse, where they packed thousands of food kits for families and individuals across Los Angeles County.

Michael Flood, President and CEO of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, emphasized the impact of this ongoing partnership: “The Clippers continue to demonstrate remarkable dedication to our mission. Their hands-on involvement, both at the Feed the Community event and in our warehouse, embodies the spirit of partnership needed to fight hunger in Los Angeles County.”

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank remains deeply appreciative of the Clippers’ partnership and continued generosity. Collaborations like these demonstrate the power of teamwork and compassion in addressing food insecurity and strengthening our community.

Thank you to the Los Angeles Clippers for helping us provide nourishment and hope to our neighbors. Together, we can make a lasting impact, one meal at a time.
