Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Receives a $750,000 donation from Albertsons, Vons and Pavillions

The support from Albertsons will help provide three million meals to our neighbors throughout LA County.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has received a $750,000 donation from Albertsons, Vons and Pavillions in an effort to boost the Food Bank’s vision that no one goes hungry in LA County. The donation is equivalent to three million meals going out to the community.

In addition to the financial contribution, Albertsons, Vons and Pavillions continue to be among the top product donors, allowing the Food Bank to mobilize these food resources back into the community.

A group of people stands proudly in front of a banner emblazoned with "Food Bank," holding a large check. Smiling at the camera, they embody the spirit of community and support in this vibrant indoor setting.Albertsons was among the first to help the Food Bank when the Greater Los Angeles wildfires began. Albertsons worked with its vendor community to get 600,000 pounds of food donated.

Additionally, after one month of the Food Bank providing disaster response, Albertsons and the Los Angeles Rams provided Food Bank staff and volunteers with a special lunch to thank them for their work, dedication and response to help provide food to those affected by the wildfires.

The Food Bank is thankful to the Albertsons, Vons and Pavillions for its commitment to helping communities with the greatest needs.
