America’s Favorite Couple Raises More Than $1.9 Million for the LA Regional Food Bank

America’s Favorite Couple Raises More Than $1.9 Million for the LA Regional Food Bank

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is honored to share that Colossal’s 2025 America’s Favorite Couple campaign raised more than $1.9 million for hunger relief in Los Angeles County. This charitable competition mobilized thousands of participants and voters, whose generosity will help the Food Bank provide nutritious food to neighbors in need.

The Food Bank extends heartfelt thanks to every couple who entered, every supporter who voted, and every community that rallied behind their favorite stories. By turning votes into donations, participants transformed a celebration of love into a tangible impact for families facing food insecurity across Los Angeles County. The Food Bank also recognizes the many volunteers and advocates who helped spread the word, proving once again that when the community comes together, meaningful change follows.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank would also like to thank Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen for creating a video and promoting the contest, and Food Bank Board Member Keith Addis for coordinating and facilitating the Food Bank’s participation.

Congratulations to the winners of the online competition, Jennie and Bryan Drollinger, who worked very hard for this recognition. Congratulations also to Colossal for organizing a successful campaign that channels public participation into real-world philanthropy, and to Oceana for co-benefiting from this year’s effort. Colossal’s creative model (pairing inclusive, story-driven competitions with charitable giving) continues to inspire awareness and support for important causes. Oceana’s leadership in combating overfishing, habitat destruction, and pollution remains essential to a healthier planet and a more sustainable future.

Also, a special thanks to long-time supporters Jeff Goldblum and his wife Emilie, whose support brought added visibility and momentum to the campaign. Their enthusiasm helped introduce new audiences to the Food Bank’s mission and encouraged engagement throughout the contest. Their leadership underscores the power of artists and advocates to elevate community-driven philanthropy.

These funds will allow the Food Bank to continue the essential work of sourcing and distributing food through a countywide network of partner agencies, and continuing programs that improve nutrition security for children, families, seniors, and individuals throughout Los Angeles County. Every dollar entrusted to the Food Bank helps move the region closer to a hunger-free LA County.

As the celebration continues, supporters are invited to the Food Bank’s 4th Annual A Million Reasons event, where Jeff Goldblum will perform. Tickets are on sale now, and attendance directly supports the Food Bank’s mission to mobilize resources to fight hunger in LA County. Join the Food Bank for an evening of music and purpose, and help build on the momentum generated by America’s Favorite Couple.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is grateful to Colossal, Oceana, Jeff and Emilie Goldblum, the participating couples, and every donor and voter. Together, this community has turned inspiration into action throughout Los Angeles County.
