The Extra Helpings Program routes perishable and other donated food from grocery stores and other local sources directly to Food Bank partner agencies.
In 2022, Extra Helpings connected 220 partner agencies to roughly 500 local food donors, resulting in 25.4 million pounds of food and other products being rescued and distributed to men, women, children and seniors in need.
