Need Support For Your Distributions?

The Food Bank can help recruit people to donate their time and assist with your food distributions.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank engages more than 15,000 volunteers annually. Our volunteers can assist with a variety of tasks, such as:

  • sorting
  • packing
  • stocking
  • unloading
  • distributing food
  • other related activities

At the moment, the Food Bank cannot recruit volunteers to assist with home deliveries, or deliver/pick up food on behalf of agencies.

If you would like the Food Bank to assist with your volunteer recruitment, please complete this online interest form.

Once you submit your request, our staff will review your request and respond to you within 72 hours.

Overview of Application Process

Step 1

Step 2

The Volunteer Department will review your request and reach out to you if they have any questions

Step 3

Schedule a 30-min call to review partner site agreement

Step 4

Once your request has been approved your opportunity will be listed on the Food Bank website

Step 5

Start receiving volunteers from the Food Bank!
