With an increasing number of clients that we serve in the Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Armenian, Russian, and Farsi community, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is in need of bilingual speaking volunteers to help at some of our distribution sites throughout Los Angeles County.

Many of our clients who receive food at our distribution sites do not speak English as their first language. We need volunteers who can help communicate with our clients.

Volunteers must possess fluency in Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Armenian, Russian, or Farsi. Volunteers must have strong communications skills, personable, and have a positive attitude. The hours are 3 to 4 hours on certain days. Volunteers are also needed for form translation, phone communication, and in person translation.

Date & Time:	Thursday, February 23 - Volunteer project is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Parking/Registration/Check-in starts at 8:30 am

Address:	The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is located at 2825 E. 54th Street, Vernon, 90058.

Volunteers are needed to assemble food packages that go to women with infants, children, and senior citizens in Los Angeles County. Food packages include canned fruit, cereal, rice, and other non-perishable food items. Help us Help those in need in our community.
