The need is tremendous – more than 1.6 million LA County residents struggle with hunger. The Food Bank’s distribution volume has increased by an astounding 62% during the past two years, and we now distribute the equivalent of 800,000 meals every week. The need may be great, but so is the impact that you can have.
For every $1 donation, the Food Bank can
provide enough food for 4 meals.
Hunger has a cure, but we need your help!
The mission of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community. The Food Bank provides enough food for more than 800,000 meals each week distributed through a network of 560 charitable agencies located throughout Los Angeles County. Approximately 1 million people benefit from the food distributed by the Food Bank on an annual basis. |
