THE VERDICT IS IN ON THE 2nd ANNUAL “FOOD FROM THE BAR” CAMPAIGN
Legal community raises over $285,000 for L.A. Regional Food Bank in one month!


Los Angeles (June 9, 2010) – The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the legal community of Los Angeles held their 2nd annual Food from the Bar campaign from April 19 through May 14.

The Food from the Bar campaign invited the legal community in Los Angeles to raise much needed food and funds for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, which provides food and product to assist those facing hunger in Los Angeles County. Participating law firms and other groups in the legal community raised over $285,000 in funds and donated over 1,600 hours of time volunteering at the Food Bank.

The campaign judged participants on food collection, fundraising and volunteer service, and will recognize participants based on contributions. Honors were given in categories including: Overall Total, Most Per Capita Total and Most Volunteers.
