Product Donors - How to Donate Your Product
If you or your company have a donation that needs to be picked-up, please call Clarissa Velasco in our Product Donations Department at (323) 234-3030 extension 130 or e-mail her at cvelasco@lafoodbank.org

Los Angeles Regional Foodbank accepts dry, shelf-stable, refrigerated and frozen food items; prepared foods; foodservice items; and personal care and cleaning products. Or call our Product Donations Department to find out what others products are accepted at the Foodbank.  
 

Why Should I Donate?
Donating surplus inventory to Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is safe, efficient and cost-effective.

Product donations reduce warehouse storage and dumping costs, and Los Angeles Regional Foodbank can pick up your donation free of charge.

Gifts to Los Angeles Regional Foodbank are covered by national Good Samaritan laws.    In addition, product donations generate tax benefits for participating companies.

Los Angeles Regional Foodbank can accept dry, shelf-stable, refrigerated and frozen food items; prepared foods; foodservice items; personal care and cleaning products; office supplies and equipment; mislabeled and unlabeled products; obsolete promotional items; and bulk and damaged products. 

 
Food Drives and Fund Drives
Looking for a meaningful way to take action and a great opportunity to get involved? Food drives and fund drives raise awareness of hunger in the community, collect food for people in need and play an essential role in the fight against hunger.

 
Food Drives 
Los Angeles Regional Foodbank accepts dry, shelf-stable, refrigerated and frozen food items; foodservice items; and personal care and cleaning products.

We encourage you to add a Virtual Food Drive component to your food drive. Every dollar we receive, allows us to distribute 5 lbs of food.


Food from food drives is gathered through collection barrels. E-mail us at ecastro@lafoodbank.org or call (323) 234-3030, extension 154 to request a collection barrel for your upcoming food drive.

Watch for food drives with the U.S. Postal Service, schools, supermarkets and other organizations in your area.

Fund Drives      

No room or time to conduct a food drive? Try a fund drive instead!

Your group or company can raise funds to benefit the hungry of Los Angeles County.  Call the Foodbank at (323) 234-3030, extension 147 for tips on making your fund drive a success.
