The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is committed to respecting the privacy
of online visitors and pledges its best efforts to that end. In general,
you can visit the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank on the Web without telling
us who you are or revealing anything about yourself.
Our Web server automatically recognizes each visitor's domain name, but
does not automatically collect personally identifiable information. There
are times, however, such as when you make a donation or register for our
mailing list, that we will collect specific information. If you choose to
provide personally identifiable data, you may receive future information
from us--by mail or electronically --advising you of upcoming Los Angeles
Regional Foodbank events, services, or volunteer and support

Angeles Regional Foodbank is not responsible for the privacy practices of

hunger in Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank does not

Credit Card Information: The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank has contracted the services of a banking
partner to process credit card donations submitted online. Our banking
partner's secured server encrypts your credit card information so that it
may be safely transmitted over the Web. Your credit card information will
not be released by the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank or its banking
partner to any other party.
Security; No
Liability: The Los
Angeles Regional Foodbank has implemented security measures to help
protect against the risk of loss, misuse and alteration of any
information under the Foodbank's control. We protect your online
order information by using Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") technology. SSL
encrypts your order information to avoid the decoding of that
information by anyone other than the Foodbank. The Foodbank has been
issued a Class 3 Secure Server certificate by VeriSign/PayPal, a leader
in internet security, which is valid until 9/10/2009. The

symbol). Nevertheless, such security measures may not prevent all loss,
misuse or alteration of information on the Site, and the Los Angeles
Regional Foodbank is not responsible for any damages or liabilities
relating to any such security failures. You understand that data and
communications, including e-mail and other electronic communications,
may be accessed by unauthorized third parties when communicated over the
Internet. Furthermore, the Site contains links to other web sites. The
Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is not responsible for nor can the Los
Angeles Regional Foodbank ensure the privacy practices or content of
such other sites.
Opt Out:
You may choose not to
receive such information and/or to allow the Los Angeles Regional
Foodbank to use your information in the manner described above by

Upon receipt and processing of an "opt out" request, the Foodbank will,
within a reasonable amount of time, remove your information from any

Refund Policy: There are no refunds of tax-deductible donations, except in the events of
credit card theft or unauthorized use of a credit card. If you have any
