Food from the Bar - ACC

     

 Thank you for joining the legal community across LA County in Food from the Bar 2011.

 

As ACC members, you will be participating and competing under the ACC organization.  Food from the Bar is a friendly competition among the legal community to raise funds and awareness about the Food Bank.  During the drive, organizations will be awarded points for financial donations, food donations and volunteering.  All firms that attain a certain level of giving will receive an Achievement Award.  An Overall Award will be given to the firm with the highest overall totals, while the firm with the highest overall per capita contributions will receive the Highest Per Capita Award.  To learn more about the competition and awards, please click here.

Ways to Help

Financial Donations

One of the best ways to help us is to donate money for our food distribution programs.  For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can supply $5 worth of food (enough for 4 meals), maximizing your contribution.

    With a Virtual Food Drive page, you can enter offline donations, track your firm's progress, make online donations and see how you stand against other Food from the Bar participants.

 

Food Donations

Having food donation bins in your location reminds you or your staff to support the drive. 

You can order food donation bins by emailing Marie at mcarpenter@lafoodbank.org and indicate that you are an ACC member.

Please note any specific delivery requirements for our drivers and allow 1-2 business days for scheduling delivery.  Our drivers make deliveries and pick-ups Monday - Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  If your barrels become full during the drive, you may request the Food Bank to swap your barrels for empty ones.
