Food Drives and Fund DrivesLooking for a meaningful way to take action and a great opportunity to get involved? Food drives and fund drives raise awareness of hunger in the community, collect food for people in need and play an essential role in the fight against hunger.Food DrivesLos Angeles Regional Foodbank accepts dry, shelf-stable, refrigerated and frozen food items; foodservice items; and personal care and cleaning products.We encourage you to add a Virtual Food Drive component to your food drive. Every dollar we receive, allows us to distribute 5 lbs of food. Food from food drives is gathered through collection barrels. E-mail us at areynoso@lafoodbank.org or call (323) 234-3030, extension 131 to request a collection barrel for your upcoming food drive.
