Thank you for participating in The New Mart's virtual food drive.

For every dollar donated, the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank can distribute enough food for four meals.  This 2009 holiday season will be the toughest the Foodbank has ever seen.  With unemployment at 12% in Los Angeles County, many families are coming into food pantries for the first time.  Most of the charitable agency sites in the Foodbank's network have seen record increases in the number of new, first time clients looking for emergency food assistance.
